We are holding the first annual state convention as an officially recognized political party with state-wide ballot access! The convention is open to all dues-paying members. If you have not yet become a member, you may do so through our website or through your local chapter.

The convention will be an opportunity to get to know other Greens from around the state, vote on new bylaws and a state platform, ratify our legal structure, vote on officers, prepare for the 2018 mid-term elections, and plan for organizing a stronger grassroots party. Plus, 2016 Green Party Presidential Candidate Jill Stein will be speaking to us by Skype!

The event will be held at the Activity & Recreational Center, 1701 W Ash St, Columbia, MO 65203. The event will run from 11:00 AM-6PM on Saturday August 12th and 9AM-3PM on Sunday August 13th.  Lunch is the responsibility of the participants. We encourage members to stay in Columbia and hang out together Saturday night. We do not have a block of hotel rooms reserved this time but chapters should feel free to contact local hotels for a group rate.

Look for more convention announcements here and on the Facebook event page.
